Bullying

  • National Bullying Helpline provides information and advice for anyone dealing with bullying. Call their Helpline on 0300 323 0169 from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 12pm on Saturday. They also have lots of guidance on their website

Sexual Violence

  • Rape Crisis: 24/7 Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Line staffed by specialists. Call free on 0808 500 2222 or go to the website to start a free online chat
  • London Survivors Gateway 0808 801 0860. This helpline is for people of all genders who have been affected by any form of sexual violence.

  • Survivors UK offer information, support and counselling for male and non-binary survivors of sexual violence
  • Survivors Trust has over 120 member organisations throughout the UK and Ireland who provide specialist support services survivors of sexual violence. Call 0808 801 0818
  • The Havens specialist support for people who have been raped or sexually assaulted. For urgent advice and appointments call 020 3299 6900 
  • Galop runs a helpline for LGBT+ people experiencing abuse or violence including sexual violence. Call 0800 999 5428 or email help@galop.org.uk 

Domestic or familial abuse  

  • The National Domestic Abuse Helpline is available 24/7 on 0808 2000 247 to talk about about domestic abuse, safety planning, advice and support. Live chat is also available on their website.
  • Women's Aid have lots of online guidance including a survivors handbook, and a survivors forum
  • Rights of Women run telephone advice lines providing free and confidential legal advice to women to help them understand the law and their legal rights.This includes advice on non-molestation orders. Their advice lines include interpreter services. There are different numbers for different types of advice. Check the options on their website
  • Women and Girls network is a free service run by women, for women in London who have been affected by all forms of violence and abuse. They offer various support services including an advice line on 0808 801 0660
  • Southall Black Sisters Domestic violence & immigration advice
  • NCDV A fast, free emergency injunction service for domestic abuse
  • Solace Women’s Aid offers free, confidential advice and support for women in London affected by abuse. Call 0808 805 2265. Their range of services are explained here
  • Respect is a Helpline for male victims of domestic abuse
  • Angelou: Helping women & girls affected by domestic violence & abuse
  • Galop: advice and support to people who have experienced biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexual violence or domestic abuse. 020 7704 2040
  • Imkaan is a Black and minoritised feminist organisation, working to prevent violence against women and girls (VAWG) 
  • One Stop Shop is a drop-in service for domestic abuse survivors. You can come in and access discrete non-judgemental support, free advice and information from agencies that are all under one roof concerning domestic abuse, stalking and sexual violence. No appointment needed. 
  • Women’s Trust Specialist domestic violence counselling in some borough, but support groups and workshops are pan-London. Tel: 020 7034 0303 (Monday to Friday 9:30am – 5pm).
  • Mankind Provides one to one counselling, groups and couples counselling to men aged 18+ who have experienced sexual abuse. Male Victims of Domestic Abuse confidential helpline Tel: 01823 334244 Weekdays from 10am to 4pm.
  • Jewish Women's Aid Domestic Abuse Helpline Service for Jewish women and children who have experienced domestic abuse Web chat available: Monday and Wednesday 15:00 - 17:00 and Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 - 12:00 or Tel: 0808 801 0500. 
  • The Forced Marriage Unit Joint initiative between the Foreign Office and Home Office. It assists actual and potential victims of forced marriage, as well as professionals. Tel: 020 7008 0151 or email fmu@fcdo.gov.uk
